The Wuacademia Philosophical MBA is an academically rigorous, 12 (or 24) month MBA program with a general management orientation and Political Philosophy. - Operations Management: the focus is on the design, planning, direction and control of facilities, processes and activities that are required to transform labour, capital, materials and energy into goods and services
- Human Resource Management: is designed to take an in-depth, critical look at the effects of environmental change on organisational culture and structure and in doing so, increase knowledge of the various levers organisations pull to influence behaviour and performance
- Marketing Management: gives an introduction to the marketing concept, the strategic importance of marketing for the development and implementation of marketing plans, and an analysis of buyers' behaviour and the instruments of the marketing mix
- Financial Management: the objective is to provide an introduction to the principles of financial management, in particular develop an understanding of the concepts of economic profitability, return and value, under conditions of uncertainty and inflation
- Business and Society Management: addresses the big picture by looking at corporate social responsibility, business ethics and sustainability as well as business and the environment
- Advanced Finance: deals in depth with the tools of financial decision-making such as option analysis, corporate valuation and value-based management and risk management
