ITEM 1: The world-wide competition 2016 of the 13th art (THEATRE) is organised by the World and Universal Academy foundation, in partnership with the WUACADEMIA company. It is open from March 30, 2016 to April 30, 2016. All artists, irrespective of age, sex, nationality or social situation
may participate.
ITEM 2: To participate in the competition, send an original play or an original performance (or several plays or performances). Plays or performances can only be accepted if it is written (or translated) in either English, French or Dutch. It will be even much better if candidates would translate their works into the above mentioned languages.
ITEM 3A: The world-wide competition 2016 of the 13th art (THEATRE) rewards the best unpublished plays. The seven possible themes are the following:
- monologue;
- comedy;
- Detective comedy;
- drama and tragedy;
- sketch;
- romance;
- erotic.
ITEM 3B: The world-wide competition 2016 of the 13th art (THEATRE) rewards the best theatre performances. The two possible categories are the following:
- monologue;
- group;
ITEM 4A: The three best works or performances from each genres will receive respectively:
- The Gold Prize of the 13th art THEATRE-play (certificate and publication of the winning play.);
- The Silver Prize of the 13th art THEATRE-play (certificate and possibility of publication of the winning play.);
- The Bronze Prize of the 13th art THEATRE-play (certificate and edition possibility of the play in several languages.).
ITEM 4B: The three best theatre performances from each categories will receive respectively:
- The Gold Prize of the 13th art THEATRE-performance (certificate and world-wide promotion);
- The Silver Prize of the 13th art THEATRE-performance (certificate and world-wide promotion);
- The Bronze Prize of the 13th art THEATRE-performance (certificate and world-wide promotion).
ITEM 5: The best work among the “gold Prizes" will receive what's more the World-wide Grand Prix of the 13th art: THEATRE (a certificate, international promotion).
ITEM 6: The concurrent work must be sent through Internet

ITEM 7: The works that are sent in will not be returned to their author. Once sent in, it will not be modified or completed by registering again. The author has to send his photography and his artistic curriculum vitae. Candidates are obliged to send in their works either in English, French, Dutch or Spanish and their artistic curriculum vitae. The participants using a pseudonym must mention the two names (the true name and the pseudonym) on to the participation card during the registration, otherwise they will be eliminated.
ITEM 8: ENTRY FEE (FEES): €0 first entry, €25 each additional. It is possible to present several works. Every work will have an apart inscription to. The entry fee is non-refundable.
ITEM 9: The competing works will be published in an anthology and on the site www.wuacademia.org from May 07, 2016. Netsurfers will then be able to vote. The netsurfers would vote and choose the best overall work. The candidates do not receive any rights of authors concerning the usage of their works by the World and Universal Academy notably in regards to the voting process on the net and ebook.
ITEM 10: The results (the nominations) will be announced on July 25, 2016. The prize award will take place in the Netherlands on August 27, 2016 during the WORLD MANAGEMENT AND KNOWLEDGE FORUM (and the fifth WUacademia Festival) in Amsterdam. The presence of the winners at the prize award day is highly needed.
ITEM 11: Candidates must submit only original work of arts. Any work that we receive from participants is assumed to be authentic work of the author. In the event of false claim the author will bare the consequence alone. We wish all the participants good luck. |
