Eligibility: International, Open to all ages
Prizes: 0€ (+ certificates + international promotion + publication + edition of the work in an international anthology + the winner will be nominated for the Grand Prix Leonardo Da Vinci 2010).
Entry Fee: €0 first entry, €25 each additional.
The prize awards: The prize award will take place in the Netherlands on December 4, 2010 during the fourth WUacademia Festival in Groningen. The presence of the winners at the prize award day is highly needed

THE REGULATION OF THE COMPETITION

ITEM 1: The world-wide competition 2010 of the 5th art (MUSIC)is organised by the World and Universal Academy foundation, in partnership with the WUACADEMIA company. It is open from Januari 5 to May 31, 2010. All artists, irrespective of age, sex, nationality or social situation …may participate.

ITEM 2: To participate in the competition, send an original song or several songs.  Songs can only be accepted if it is written (or translate) in either English, French, Spanish or Dutch. It will be even much better if candidates would translate their works into the above mentioned languages.

ITEM 3: The world-wide competition 2010 of the 5th art (MUSIC) rewards the best songs and the best singers.
The 12 possible genres are the following:
- Hip-hop music (rap) ;
- Rock music ;
- Pop music ;
- Reggae ;
- Melodic music ;
- Jazz ;
- Rhythm and blues ;
- Latin American music ;
- Classic music ;
- Gospel music ;
- contemporary African music ;
- Traditional African music.

ITEM 4A: The three best songs or composers from each genres will receive respectively:
-The gold Prize of the 5th art (music-singing) (certificate and world-wide promotion);
-The silver Prize of the 5th art (music-singing) (certificate and world-wide promotion);
-The bronze Prize of the 5th art (music-singing) (certificate and world-wide promotion);

ITEM 4B: The three best songs or composers from each genres will receive respectively:
-The gold Prize of the 5th art (music-songwriting) (certificate and world-wide promotion);
-The silver Prize of the 5th art (music-songwriting) (certificate and world-wide promotion);
-The bronze Prize of the 5th art (music-songwriting) (certificate and world-wide promotion);

ITEM 5: The best work among the “gold Prizes" will receive what's more the World-wide Grand Prix of the 5th art (Music) (a certificate, international promotion).

ITEM 6: The concurrent work must be sent through Internet (in format PDF) or through the post, to the service of the competitions of the World and Universal Academy, to the following postal address:

ITEM 7: The works that are sent in will not be returned to their author. Once sent, the work will not be modified or completed by registering again. The author has to send his photography and his artistic curriculum vitae. Candidates are obliged  to send in their works either in Dutch, English or French in addition to their artistic curriculum vitae. The participants using a pseudonym must mention the two names (the true name and the pseudonym) on the participation card when paying for the entry fee,  otherwise they will be eliminated.

ITEM 8: ENTRY FEE (FEES): €0 first entry, €25 each additional. It is possible to present several works.  Every work will have an apart inscription to. The entry fee is non-refundable.

 ITEM 9: The competing works will be published on the site www.wuacademia.org from July 2, 2010. Netsurfers will then  be able to vote.  The netsurfers would vote and choose the best overall work. The candidates do not receive any rights of authors concerning the usage of their works by the World and Universal Academy notably in regards to the voting process on the net.

ITEM 10:  The results will be announced on October.  The prize award will take place in the Netherlands on December 4, 2010 during the 4th world and universal Festival in Groningen.  The presence of the winners at the prize award day is highly needed.

ITEM 11: Candidates must submit only original work of arts. Any work that we receive from participants is assumed to be authentic work of the author. In the event of false claim the author will bare the consequence alone. We wish all the participants good luck.

Autoportrait Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 15, 1452 Florence, Italy- May 2, 1519 Amboise, Indre-et-Loire, France) was a talented Italian Renaissance Roman Catholic polymath: architect, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, inventor, geometer, scientist, mathematician, musician, painter and philosophe. He has been described as the archetype of the "Renaissance man", a man infinitely curious and equally inventive. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and a universal genius.
